ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission serves a double purpose: On the one hand, it allows the applicant
to make sure prior to registration that BIU can fulfill his/her educational
goals in the field of study requested. On the other hand, it guarantees BIU
admission's department that the applicant meets the appropriate requirements.

MASTER's DEGREE (M.A. / M.S. / M.B.A.)
- Admission is open for adults of over 25 years of age.
- Minimum transfer of 21 credits from previous education and/or experience.
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent (3 to 4 years of study).
Ph. D. (DOCTOR of PHILOSOPHY) DEGREE
- Admission is open for adults of over 27 years of age.
- Minimum transfer of 21 credits from previous education and/or experience.
- Master's degree or international equivalent (5 years of study).
SPECIALIST / EXPERT:
Admission: Applicants of over 19 years of age are eligible for enrollment.
BACHELOR's DEGREE (B.A. / B.S. / B.B.A.)
- Admission is open for adults of over 23 years of age.
- Minimum transfer of 45 credits from previous education and/or professional
experience to be accounted as equivalents of general education requirements.
- Admission requirements differ depending on the Faculty.
- Admission requirements also differ depending on the major of study.
- Nondiscrimination with respect to race, color, sex, believes or religion.
- Age minimum requirements differ depending on the degree program.
- A minimum of 30% of the total number of credits required by any degree syllabus
has to be transferred from previous education and/or validated from professional
experience in order to gain the admission. A maximum of 20% of the total number
of credits required by the degree program can be transferred from professional
and life experience.
