>> APOSTILLE & LEGAL REFERENCES
Both your diploma and academic transcripts from BIU can be internationally validated
by the Apostille from the Hague. In accordance with the resolutions reached at
The Hague Convention held on October 5th, 1961, diplomas, certificates and transcripts
issued by universities in one country can be officially legalized in other countries
if they are accompanied by a notarial certification, the Apostille, which authenticates
the signatures and stamps appearing on the document. Increasingly, countries around
the world are adopting this validation procedure for its simplicity and worldwide
acceptance. All BIU diplomas, degrees and transcripts may be certified at:
The British Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
United States of America.
European Union - Spain (also includes diplomatic legalization with the apostille).
The cost of each Apostille is US $ 300 including a duplicate of your
Diploma and Transcript. The Apostille must be issued by the country where the
diploma is issued.
BIU is not for everyone:
The Bircham Learning System will work only for people who have a certain level
of maturity and responsibility, and at least 50% of prior knowledge in the field
of study. This is the reason why the Academic Board has established different
admission criteria depending on such field of study and the student's country
of origin, because of the differences between levels and systems of education
in several countries.
